Terry Newman, CEO & Founder has extensive experience advising and coaching leaders and teams to achieve higher impact in their roles. Through solutions focused coaching, assessments, team building and facilitation, Terry helps leaders and teams achieve greater effectiveness.
Terry leverages her business and leadership experience in her work. She partners with clients and organizations to serve as a catalyst for positive change. She has coached professionals from over 30 countries on 360 feedback, individual effectiveness, leadership and team development, career management, change management and effective communication. In addition, Terry coaches Columbia MBA students as part of a Leadership Lab class and has worked as a coach and facilitator for several women’s leadership and D& I programs. Terry has designed and facilitated dozens of customized interactive programs to on team effectiveness and leadership development.

Background: Previously, Terry spent over 25 years in the investment management industry where she successfully built teams, raised assets, improved organizational operations and client service. She held senior roles at Credit Suisse, Iridian Asset Management, and Armstrong Shaw Associates. Earlier in her career, she was a Vice President at Bankers Trust and an account executive at Instinet Corporation.
Achievements: Terry has successfully guided teams through significant corporate change and received an Award of Excellence from Credit Suisse for her team building efforts after its acquisition of Warburg Pincus Asset Management.
Credentials: She earned her certification in Executive and Organizational Coaching from Columbia University’s Business School and Teachers College. Terry is certified to administer and interpret the Hogan Suite of Assessments, MBTI, the Nethling Brain Instrument (NBI), Hay ESCI 360, Clark-Wilson 360, and LMAP 360 assessments.
Personal: As a working parent, commuter, and member of the sandwich generation, Terry has valuable experience with the challenges facing many professionals seeking work-life balance. She uses mindfulness meditation practices to help clients manage stress and build resilience and brings these insights to coaching and workshops.
