Women’s Leadership Coaching and Leadership Development

Women are under-represented in C-Suite executive leadership roles, with little change in numbers across almost every industry over the past few decades. And while women comprise the majority of consumers, health care workers, medical and law students, representation decreases higher up the organizational ladder–with few female CEOs. As a woman who succeeded as a senior executive in the male-dominated field of finance, I am passionate about coaching high-potential diverse leaders and take pride in the success my clients have had reaching senior leadership roles in their organizations.

The team at Newman Management has designed and facilitated coaching, sponsorship and mentorship programs to close the gender gap in executive level positions and provide the necessary tools and support to help high-potential women leaders advance their careers. Workshops and coaching focus on helping women identify and communicate their unique value proposition and senior leadership brand, increase their confidence, show more strategic leadership, create stakeholder engagement plans, develop a leadership vision and execute actionable plans to reach their aspirational leadership goals and expand their influence.

As part of Columbia University’s graduate-level coaching program, I authored a research paper edtitled “Women’s Leadership Coaching: Communication Strategies for Career Advancement. The paper focuses on effective self-promotion and negotiation strategies for women in the workplace. DOWNLOAD

Feedback from a distinguished female leader:

“Terry is particularly skilled at coaching senior women leaders and minorities to achieve their full potential. She was instrumental in helping me realize my full potential by continually challenging me to do better and to be a better leader. Terry is a very good listener and encouraged me to think of different approaches including pushing me to think out of the box and to explore areas outside my comfort zone. She was the support I needed in the senior leadership role I was holding in the Asia Pacific region. She also designed workshops with my leadership team that helped establish trust, role clarity, and a common vision around an important new initiative.”
